Reyasat Chowdhury

Founder & CEO at Shuttle

Reyasat Chowdhury is the co-founder and CEO of Shuttle, a mass-transit startup in Bangladesh that focuses on providing safe and affordable transportation for women by utilizing mini-vans. Reyasat also served as a Global Shaper for the World Economic Forum, working with a network of young leaders to address local and global challenges. Additionally, Reyasat was an Ambassador for One Young World, an organization that connects impactful young leaders around the world. Reyasat is a member of The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), Bangladesh Council, and has previous experience at Robi Axiata Limited, where they worked in product management and pricing. Reyasat's work experience also includes being the founding president of the NSU Finance Club, where they organized various developmental activities for students in the field of finance.

Reyasat Chowdhury's education history includes a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from North South University, with a focus on Finance & Accounting and Economics. This degree was obtained from 2012 to 2016.

In addition to their bachelor's degree, Reyasat also completed the MIT Innovation & Entrepreneurship Bootcamp in Rio de Janeiro, earning a Certificate in New Ventures Leadership. This program was completed by 2018 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Reyasat has also obtained several certifications, including "Becoming a Product Manager" and "Technology for Product Managers" from LinkedIn in December 2020. In June 2020, they completed the "Brad Feld on Raising Capital" certification from LinkedIn. Furthermore, in March 2018, Reyasat obtained the certification "Introduction to Negotiation: A Strategic Playbook for Becoming a Principled and Persuasive Negotiator" from Coursera. In February 2018, they completed four courses on entrepreneurship from Coursera, namely "Entrepreneurship 1: Developing the Opportunity," "Entrepreneurship 2: Launching your Start-Up," "Entrepreneurship 3: Growth Strategies," and "Entrepreneurship 4: Financing and Profitability." Additionally, in July 2017, Reyasat obtained the "Lean Startup Training" certification from Code Ar.my.
