Chintakya Ranatunga

Chintaka Ranatunga is a seasoned professional in venture capital and strategic development with a focus on technology and eCommerce sectors. As Managing Partner at Global From Day One (GD1) Fund since August 2012, Chintaka specializes in Series A investments for B2B companies. Additionally, Chintaka owns Serendipity Strategic, which has been operational since January 2013, and previously held key roles at Serendipity, Venture Consulting, ANZ eCommerce startup, and Yellow Pages Group, among others. Chintaka also contributed as a board member for the Interactive Advertising Bureau and co-founded Mint Condition and Mobile Screen Media. Educational background includes a BA in Economics, a BCom in Finance, and an MCom with First Class Honours in Management, all obtained from The University of Auckland.
