Molly Parker

Molly Parker is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Adjunct Professor of Legal Analysis, Writing, and Research at the University of Iowa College of Law since January 2024. As an Attorney at Shuttleworth & Ingersoll, P.L.C. since October 2019 and previously at Kids First Law Center from September 2017 to October 2019, Molly has developed strong advocacy skills. Prior judicial experience includes a role as Judicial Law Clerk at the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals and Law Clerk at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Iowa. Molly's academic background includes a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Iowa College of Law, where accomplishments included Dean's Awards and participation in the Iowa Law Review as Senior Note & Comment Editor. Additional internships with the Office of the State Appellate Defender and the Cedar Rapids Public Defenders Office provided further legal research and advocacy experience. Molly Parker holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Religious Studies from the University of Iowa.
