James Braithwaite

James Braithwaite has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting from 1998 to 2023, they have held various positions in companies such as SHV Energy, Nord Stream 2 AG, Husky Energy, Saipem, RACE Group Limited, Halliburton, KBR / Granherne, and Lloyd's Register.

James'smost recent role is being the Group Health & Safety Director at SHV Energy since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of HS&Q at Nord Stream 2 AG from April 2018 to August 2022, where they were responsible for overseeing HSE, Quality, and Document Control functions.

Before that, they were the Senior HSEQ Manager - Asia Pacific at Husky Energy from July 2011 to April 2018. In this role, they provided strategic direction for the development and implementation of the company's HSEQ and Process Safety Loss Control Management system.

From February 2009 to July 2011, they worked as a Senior Project QHSE Manager at Saipem, where they advised BU Leaders on HSE issues and implemented HSEQ Management System procedures and plans.

Prior to Saipem, James held the position of HSEQ Director at RACE Group Limited from January 2005 to January 2009. During this time, they led the development and implementation of the company's HSEQ management system and performed due diligence activities for mergers and acquisitions.

From August 2001 to January 2005, they served as the KBR Infrastructure HSE Director at Halliburton, where they developed and implemented HSE strategy programs and processes for the infrastructure product line.

James also worked as the Granherne Corporate QHSE Manager at KBR / Granherne from September 1999 to August 2001. In this role, they designed and implemented the Integrated (HSEQ) Management System in all offices worldwide.

Starting their career, from June 1998 to August 1999, James was a Pipeline Manager at Lloyd's Register, where they established and coordinated pipeline activities across the company's business units and regions.
