Manuel Ross

Manuel Ross has an extensive work experience spanning over a decade. Manuel currently serves as the Head of Customer Experience at shyftplan GmbH since 2022. Prior to this, Manuel held various roles at McKinsey & Company, including Senior Engagement Manager from 2019 to 2022, and Engagement Manager from 2015 to 2019. Manuel also worked as a Project Researcher at the University of Vienna from 2010 to 2014. Manuel gained experience as an Intern in New Business Development at BASF in 2013 and as the Head of IT at icons - consulting by students from 2012 to 2013. Manuel additionally worked as an Intern in the Supply Chain Team at the United Nations in 2012. Manuel began their career as a Research Student at the University of Bristol in 2007.

Manuel Ross began their education in physics at the Technische Universität Darmstadt in 2005, where they completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in 2008. Manuel then went on to pursue a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in physics at the same institution, graduating in 2010. In the following years, Manuel enrolled at the University of Bristol in 2007, focusing on physics. After their time at Bristol, they joined the University of Vienna in 2010 and completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in physics in 2015.
