Rob Schmidt

Rob Schmidt is an accomplished Managing Director with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as Managing Director at Sia Partners since April 2019 and at Gartland and Mellina Group since January 2018, Rob focuses on delivering strategic, operational, and technology solutions tailored to client needs. Previous roles include Co-Head of the Regulatory Transformation Office at BMO Capital Markets from March 2015 to September 2017, where Rob designed compliance solutions for various regulations, and Managing Director at Rule Financial, providing advisory and IT services to top financial institutions. Rob's career also includes positions at Waterline Group, CGI, Sun Microsystems, Effectual Consulting, and the Center for Addiction and Mental Health, alongside foundational experience at Sapient. Rob holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Physics from McMaster University.
