Serefin Bugeja

Serefin Bugeja's work experience includes serving as a Senior Vice President of Operations at Siam City Cement since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Manufacturing Director at INSEE Cement from September 2019 to January 2023. Serefin also worked as an Operations Management Consultant at CMS CEMENT SDN. BHD. from May 2019 to August 2019. Before that, they served as a General Manager at Holcim Indonesia from May 2017 to March 2019. Serefin has also held various roles at LafargeHolcim, including Cement Industrial Performance Director, GCC from August 2015 to May 2017, Operations Director from July 2012 to July 2015, VP Operations, Plant Manager from February 2008 to July 2012, Operations Manager from February 2005 to January 2008, and Maintenance Manager from September 2002 to January 2005. Serefin also had roles at Blue Circle Cement and Rio Tinto, Comalco.

Serefin Bugeja earned a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with First Class Honors from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 1990 to 1993. In 2007, Serefin attended INSEAD for Advanced Leadership. Additionally, Serefin has obtained various certifications, including "Strategic Planning Foundations," "Developing Executive Presence," "Giving Your Elevator Pitch," and "IOSH Managing Safely."
