Edgaras Juodsnukis

Edgaras Juodsnukis has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and analysis. Edgaras started their career in 2016 as a Mathematics/Physics Tutor at Kaunas University of Technology, where they provided tutoring services to students in math and physics using Matlab.

In 2018, Edgaras joined TGLAB as a Data Analyst, where they focused on odds modeling and validation of existing models using R and SQL.

In 2020, they worked at Valstybės kontrolė – aukščiausioji audito institucija as a Data Modeler, where they specialized in forecasting GFCF and its components, as well as import and its components, using regression analysis and time series forecasting techniques with R and Markdown.

During the same year, they also worked at Registrų centras as a Senior Data Analyst for a brief period.

In 2020, Edgaras joined Lietuvos Geležinkeliai as a Data Scientist, focusing on capacity, demand, and resources planning in the cargo field, as well as social CBA. Edgaras utilized regression analysis, causal research, and time series forecasting techniques using R, SQL, KNIME, Power BI, and Markdown.

Currently, Edgaras is working at Šiaulių Bankas as a Data Scientist. Their responsibilities include fraud detection, customer segmentation using ML models, and KPI/dashboard development. Edgaras utilizes supervised and unsupervised learning techniques with R, Python, Jupyter Notebook, Markdown, SQL, Power BI, and RDBMS.

Overall, Edgaras Juodsnukis has gained extensive experience in data analysis, modeling, forecasting, and machine learning throughout their career in various industries.

Edgaras Juodsnukis completed a Bachelor's degree in Applied Physics from Kaunas University of Technology from 2014 to 2018. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Econometrics from Vilnius University from 2018 to 2020. Edgaras further continued their education at Vilnius University, specializing in Economic Analysis, where they completed their second Master's degree from 2019 to 2021. In addition to their academic qualifications, Edgaras Juodsnukis obtained certifications as a Data Scientist Professional and Machine Learning Scientist from DataCamp in March 2023.
