Olivier Pedurand

Olivier Pedurand has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Olivier is currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at SIB [numérique, santé et secteur public] since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Security Manager and Chief Information Security Officer at DGA - Direction générale de l'armement from June 2022 to January 2023.

From September 2020 to May 2022, Olivier held the position of Security Manager and Chief Information Security Officer at Orange Cyberdefense. Before that, they worked as a Security Manager at Orange Cyberdefense and Sogeti from June 2017 to May 2022.

Olivier's earlier roles include being a Senior Security Consultant at Sogeti from October 2015 to May 2017 and a Trainee Cyber Security at Orange from March 2015 to September 2015.

Before transitioning to the field of cybersecurity, Olivier worked at Renesas as a Senior System Engineer, Senior System Test Engineer, Test Engineering Manager, and R&D Engineer from 2008 to 2014. Olivier also served as a Senior Consultant at Altran from 2005 to 2008 and held various roles at NXP Software, including Customer Support Team Lead, Integration Team Lead, and Telecommunications Engineer from 2005 to 2007.

Olivier's career began as a Consultant at C2 Consultants from September 2003 to January 2005, and they also worked as a Technical Consultant at Orange from July 2004 to November 2004.

Olivier Pedurand has a diverse education history. In 1998, they obtained a Master's degree in Physics from Université Joseph Fourier (Grenoble I). Olivier continued their educational journey and obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree from Telecom Bretagne in 2002. During the same period, from 2000 to 2002, they attended Télécom Paris and completed a Master's degree in Network & Telecommunications. In 2014, Olivier attended Wall Street Institute and earned a TOEIC degree in English proficiency.

Olivier's pursuit of advanced education did not stop there. Olivier enrolled at IMT Atlantique to pursue a Post Master's degree in Cyber Security, which they completed in 2015.

Furthermore, Olivier also possesses several certifications that highlight their expertise in the field. In 2014, they obtained the ISTQB Certified Tester certification from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board. Subsequently, in 2016, they earned the ISO 27001 Lead Auditor certification from PECB.

Running parallel to their academic achievements, Olivier continuously sought professional certifications in the cybersecurity domain. In 2017, they completed the WCP Wallix AdminBastion WAB Suite certification offered by the WALLIX Group.

In 2018, Olivier achieved the Zscaler Certified Cloud Administrator ZCCA-IA certification. Continuing their association with Zscaler, they obtained the ZCCA-IA Zscaler Certified Cloud Administrator Internet Access certification in 2021.

Most recently, in 2022, Olivier obtained three significant certifications. Olivier became a Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO) through EC-Council. Olivier also acquired the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification twice from (ISC)². Additionally, in 2022, Olivier achieved the Zscaler Certified Cloud Administrator Internet Access - Security Specialist certification from Zscaler.
