Malose Thabo Monene

Malose Thabo Monene is a skilled professional in metallurgy and chemical engineering with extensive experience in ore processing and production optimization. Currently serving as Manager Metallurgy at Sibanye-Stillwater since January 2021, Malose previously held the position of Production Superintendent at Lonmin from September 2019 to December 2020, and was a Senior Process Engineer at Lonmin Plc from September 2009 to August 2019. Malose's expertise includes continuous improvement for productivity, application of LEAN principles, and utilization of six sigma methodology for process enhancement. Early in the career, Malose worked as a Plant Metallurgist at Lonmin Plc and as a Senior Technician at AfriOre Limited's Akanani Project, gaining comprehensive experience in research and development, quality control, and production analysis. Malose holds a B-Tech degree in Chemical Engineering from Tshwane University of Technology.
