Jorge Sá Nogueira

Jorge Sá Nogueira has extensive work experience at SIBS, starting in 1997 as a Euro Changeover specialist. In this role, they provided support to the Department manager, monitored milestones of the Euro project, reported to the Central Bank, and communicated through various channels, including speaking at conferences.

From 2002 onwards, Jorge held various roles at SIBS. Jorge started as a Project Controller, responsible for project budget control. Then, they became a Project Portfolio Manager, overseeing more than 200 major projects over a period of 10 years, with a total budget of 100 million euros. Jorge also managed the project portfolio, budget supervision, capacity management, and time management. Additionally, they were responsible for executive board reporting on the project portfolio and business demands, and they played a key role in implementing the Business Demand process.

In January 2018, Jorge took on the roles of Project Manager and Project Portfolio Manager. Jorge provided key support to the PMO Manager in evolving the PMO and improving project management processes. Jorge also managed non-project initiatives, ensuring smooth process management and reporting on KPIs. In addition, Jorge served as an ISO 20000 Process Manager, overseeing service change planning. Lastly, they supervised the Clarity PPM system functionality.

Overall, Jorge Sá Nogueira has demonstrated a strong track record in project management and portfolio oversight throughout their career at SIBS.

Jorge Sá Nogueira attended Escola Alemã de Lisboa from 1984 to 1992, where they completed their School and High School education, specializing in Sciences. In 1992, they enrolled in Universidade Nova de Lisboa and graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor's degree in Economics. After a few years, in 2006, Jorge attended the Project Management Institute and obtained a certification in Project Management (PMP) in the following year, 2007. In 2018, they received two certifications from the Scrum Alliance, including Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
