Nelson Alves is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations and lean manufacturing, currently serving as Managing Director at SKELT - SICAME Group since September 2023. Prior to this role, Nelson Alves held various leadership positions at KIRCHHOFF Automotive from September 2008 to September 2023, including Director of Supply Chain Logistics, Director of Production & Lean Manufacturing, and Lean Manager, overseeing substantial teams and driving initiatives to enhance production systems and efficiency. Nelson Alves began the career at Monteiro Ribas Indústrias, SA, advancing from production planning to production coordination, and has gained a robust educational background with an MBA from Católica Porto Business School and a postgraduate degree in Lean Manufacturing from Esade.
