Martin Halford

Martin Halford currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at siccar since January 2024. Additionally, Martin has been an active contributor to the Accord Project since February 2019, where significant roles included inaugural Chair of the Technical Steering Committee and member of various technical groups. As co-founder and CTO of beNEXT.io, Martin focuses on the integration of smart legal contracts with commerce. Previous experience includes leading technology at MANTRA, where regulatory-friendly financial services were developed, and at AgriChain, where a software development center was established in India. Martin co-founded Cargo Amigo, leading a digital platform for the freight sector, and held CTO positions at Chelsea Apps Factory and Appster, where the India Development Centre was significantly expanded. Early career roles included IT Manager at realestateVIEW.com.au and Director of Mobile Technologies at drivecompare. Martin holds degrees in Applied Science from RMIT University and Computer Science from Monash University.
