Dr. Tom Busche

Dr. Tom Busche is an experienced middle manager with expertise in the sensor business, equipment development, and the semiconductor industry. Over their career, they have held various leadership positions, including Head of Process Engineering, Head of Project Management, and Head of Equipment Engineering at SICK from 2012 to 2017. Prior to that, they served in the Bundeswehr as an officer and held several roles at Toppan Photomask, including Manager of Applications & Technical Planning. Dr. Busche earned a Ph.D. in Solid-State Physics from Goethe-Universität Frankfurt and has a strong background in strategic planning and project management, complemented by skills in Six Sigma and the Theory of Constraints.
