Georg Schneider

Georg Schneider is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in system engineering and project management in the automotive and technology sectors. Currently serving as the Head of System Engineering at SICK since January 2023, Georg previously worked at Ibeo Automotive Systems GmbH from April 2018 to December 2022, where roles included Technical Project Manager, Product Owner, and Laser Safety Manager, focusing on LiDAR sensor optimization and compliance with laser safety standards. Prior to that, Georg contributed to system development, including architecture design for LiDAR products. Academic achievements include a PhD and Master of Science in Physics, both from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, supplemented by a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the same institution.
