Katee Shao / Cpsm

Katee Shao has extensive work experience in procurement and supply chain management. Katee currently holds the position of Regional Category Manager & Lead Procurement Shared Service Center Asia at SICK Sensor Intelligence since June 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Regional Category Manager Asia at the same company since July 2018.

Before joining SICK Sensor Intelligence, Katee worked at ABB from 2006 to 2018. During their time there, they held the role of Category Manager, where they were responsible for managing global and local business units related to various products. Katee developed and implemented supply chain management strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery of suppliers and products. Katee also played a key role in sourcing strategies and ensuring the supply base's capability and capacity to meet business requirements. Katee also worked as an Application Engineer during their tenure at ABB.

Katee Shao / CPSM completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electrical Engineering & Automation from Beijing Union University between 2002 and 2006. In addition, they obtained a Lean 6 Sigma Yellow Belt certification from the International Association for Continuing Education & Training (IACET) in June 2018.
