Michael Paul

Michael is an Assistant Professor of Information Science and Computer Science at the University of Colorado-Boulder. He was previously a doctoral student at Johns Hopkins University where he was advised by Dr. Mark Dredze, and he has done industry internships at Twitter and Microsoft Research. His background is in machine learning and natural language processing, and he has published several papers on analyzing social media for various public health issues including disease monitoring.
