Ulrich Keil

Director, IC Design at Sicoya

Ulrich Keil is the current Director of IC Design at Sicoya. Prior to joining Sicoya, Ulrich served as Manager of Advanced Technology at FCI Germany from April 2011 to December 2015. In this role, Ulrich led the Optical Module Development team based on Parallel Optical Interconnects and also oversaw the company's Photonics Research Activities. From March 2007 to March 2011, Ulrich was Engineering Manager at IPtronics A/S where they were responsible for the design and project management of high speed optical interconnects. Ulrich also spent time at Widex A/S from November 2006 to February 2007 as an R&D engineer, working on circuit design for hearing aids and low power AD converters. Prior to their work in the private sector, Ulrich was an Assistant Research Professor at The Technical University of Denmark from December 1994 to July 1998 and a Postdoc at Eindhoven University of Technology from May 1993 to November 1994. Ulrich began their career as a Postdoc at AT&T Bell Labs in Murray Hill, New Jersey from March 1991 to April 1993.

Ulrich Keil has a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics from Bielefeld University, a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Düsseldorf, and a Masters in Physics from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg. Ulrich also has a dr. techn. from the DTU - Technical University of Denmark.

They work with Stefan Meister - CTO, Marco Vitali - Director, System Engineering, and Peter Neumann - VP, Operations. Their manager is Sven Otte, CEO.
