Jean-Christophe Makuch

Jean-Christophe Makuch has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2001, they worked as a Software Engineer, Project Manager, and Source Code Control Manager at ESI Group, focusing on solver and graphical user interface development. In 2008, they joined SunGard Global Trading as a Software Support Engineer and later became a Market Connectivity Project Manager, responsible for front office connectivity to Asian markets. In 2011, they worked at EPFL as an Engineer Consultant in Computational Science, facilitating technology transfers and improving meshing capabilities for industrial software. Jean-Christophe then returned to ESI Group in 2011 as a Senior Manager of DevOps, overseeing global casting and welding solutions and coordinating the development of the company's cloud platform. Since 2019, they have been working at SICPA, first as the Senior Manager Software Architect for Integrity Solutions, developing cutting-edge and proven blockchain technologies, and currently as the Head of Industry Solution and Head of Digital Technologies. Overall, Jean-Christophe Makuch has a strong background in software development, project management, and technological solutions across various industries.

Jean-Christophe Makuch completed their Preparatory Class for Engineering School in Mathematics at Lycee Berthollet from 1996 to 1998. During this time, they studied mathematics, physics, and programming. Jean-Christophe then went on to pursue a Master's in Mathematical and Modelling Engineering at Polytech Clermont from 1998 to 2001. Their studies at Polytech Clermont focused on mathematical modelling, algorithm design, optimization, statistics, and programming. In addition to their formal education, Jean-Christophe Makuch obtained the certification of Product Focus Certified Product Manager from Product Focus in March 2019.
