Ruggero Milanese

Ruggero Milanese has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Ruggero is currently the Director, Head of "Revenue Mobilization and Conformity" market at SICPA since August 2022. Previously, they held roles such as Director, Product Marking and Traceability Solutions, Director Global Marketing & Technical Sales, Director Government Solution Sales, Director Project Management Office, Senior Engineering Manager, and Software Engineering Manager at SICPA. Ruggero also worked as a Board Member at the International Tax Stamp Association since April 2021. Prior to their tenure at SICPA, Milanese served as a Senior IT Manager at The Capital Group Companies, a Programme Manager - EMEA Sales Operations at HP, EMEA Content Management Team Leader at HP, Project Manager at HP, Solution Architect at Landis+Gyr, Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of Geneva, Research and Teaching Assistant at Université de Genève, and Research Associate at Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK-irst).

Ruggero Milanese started their education in 1983 at Università degli Studi di Udine, where they obtained a Laurea (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Science in 1988. Ruggero then pursued further education and completed their Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Geneva from 1990 to 1993. Additionally, in 1994, they conducted postdoctoral research in Computer Vision at the University of California, Berkeley.

Later on, Ruggero Milanese enrolled in various certification programs. Ruggero participated in the High-Performance Leadership program at IMD until 2009. In 2016, they earned a degree in Strategic Marketing from IMD. Ruggero also completed several professional certificates in the fields of IT Governance (COBIT), IT services (ITIL), and Project Management (Project Management Institute).
