Sebastien M. has a diverse work experience in the field of taxation. Sebastien started their career as a Tax Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2007 and worked there until 2010. Sebastien then joined NCMB notaires associes as a Trainee Notary for a brief period from January 2011 to September 2011. After that, Sebastien joined KPMG as a Senior Consultant in the Corporate Tax Department, where they handled various tasks such as income tax returns, tax due diligence for M&A, and negotiations with tax authorities. Sebastien also worked at SICPA, initially as a Tax Analyst from January 2013 to October 2014, then as a Group Tax Manager from November 2014 to April 2018, and currently as the Group Head of Tax since April 2018.
Sebastien M.'s education history began with a Bachelor's degree in Law and Economics from CESSEV. Later, they pursued a Law degree from the Université de Fribourg - Universität Freiburg, specializing in Swiss Law, and completed it between 2002 and 2007. In 2012, Sebastien received a Certificat Markom from FMP Formation, focusing on marketing, sales, and PR. Additionally, in 2013, they attended IBFD for Principles of Transfer Pricing, and in 2014, they pursued a degree in Permanent Establishments from IBFD, with both programs emphasizing International Tax. Between 2016 and 2017, Sebastien enrolled in HEC Lausanne - The Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Lausanne for an Executive Master of Advanced Studies in International Taxation, acquiring a Master of Laws (LLM). Continuing their education, Sebastien attended IMD in 2021 to study Business Finance, and is currently enrolled in IMD for Transformational Leader, with an anticipated completion date in 2023.
