Sidecar Doughnuts & Coffee
Our story begins with a warehouse-turned-test kitchen in Costa Mesa, CA, a renovated 1959 Helm’s Bakery Truck, and a vision of a beautiful, new kind of gathering place for our community. As we worked to create the most innovative and delicious doughnuts around, we invited friends and family to weekly taste test gatherings, and hit the town with the truck to share fresh doughnuts with our neighbors. Our flagship Costa Mesa location opened in 2013, setting the stage for our community-driven brand, dedicated to the freshest doughnuts and absolute best customer service. As we expanded to the north and south, we brought with us our core values of quality, connection & delight, and built upon our mission to always create places where people could connect and experience the delight that is doughnuts. Over the years, our doughnuts have landed on countless “Best of” lists, starred in TV shows like Cooking Channel’s "Unique Sweets" and Food Networks’ "Best Thing I Ever Ate" and raised significant funds for local non-profits. And now, we’re on a mission to spread our word of Doughnuts, Coffee & Community to cities and towns near and far, so that everyone can experience the labor of love we call Sidecar.
