Jason Raneses

Jason Raneses currently serves as the CTO at Sidekick, an award-winning generative AI assistant designed for real estate professionals, since May 2022. Previously, Jason was a mentor at Plato, where the focus was on helping engineering and product leaders enhance their soft skills and team-building capabilities from August 2020 to July 2025. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Director of Engineering at sweetgreen from January 2020 to September 2021, overseeing engineering efforts supporting various operational aspects. Jason also played a pivotal role at Credit Karma, serving as both Head of Engineering and Senior Staff Engineer from October 2014 to January 2020, contributing to the establishment of product engineering sites and services platforms. Other notable positions include Lead Architect at Experian, Principal Architect at Fidelity National Financial, and various senior development roles at Microsoft, E*TRADE, realtor.com, and TransUnion.
