MacIej Krol

Maciej Krol has extensive work experience in various IT roles. Maciej began their career at Agora Gazeta SA in 1990 as an IT Manager before moving on to SOFTOP as a Network Engineer in 1993. Maciej then worked as an IT Manager at Agrobank SA from 1994 to 1996. From 1996 to 2001, they served as an IT Specialist and later as an IT Data Center Manager at LECH Browary Wielkopolski SA. Maciej then joined Kompania Piwowarska (SABMiller plc) in 2001, where they held several roles including IT Technical Manager, IT Manager, IT Governance Manager, and finally Head of IT. In 2011, they became the IT Director at SABMiller, responsible for local IT services. Maciej then joined Solaris Bus & Coach in 2014 as the IT Director before transitioning to Sidel in 2018. At Sidel, they initially served as a Senior IT Project Manager, managing infrastructure and global network projects. Maciej later became the Head of IT PMO and Projects Portfolio, overseeing the management of the Group IT Project Portfolio function. Throughout their career, Maciej has demonstrated their expertise in project management, IT governance, and strategic IT planning.

Maciej Krol has a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Poznan University of Technology, which they obtained from 1988 to 1993. Maciej also completed Postgraduate Studies in Innovative Management of Product Development and Technology at the same university from 2014 to 2015, as well as Postgraduate Management Studies in Modern enterprise management from 2013 to 2014. Additionally, Maciej has obtained several certifications including Disciplined Agile Scrum Master, P3O® Certifications, PRINCE2 Foundation 2017, Business English Certificate – Vantage, Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), ITIL Foundation in IT Service Management, and Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT), which were obtained between 2008 and 2022.
