David Dummer

David Dummer is a Knowledge Management Lawyer and Global Litigation Lead at Sidley Austin LLP, a position held since October 2013. In this role, David enhances client service and firm performance by managing relevant information related to legal practice and experience. Previously, David served as Counsel, focusing on business litigation and internal investigations, along with bankruptcy-related litigation and e-discovery. Prior to Sidley Austin, David worked as a Lawyer at Weil Gotshal and Manges and Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, and gained experience as a Law Clerk at the United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky. David holds a JD from Duke University School of Law and a BA in Political Science, Communication, and Philosophy from Tulane University.
