Michael Samonas, MSc, PhD, FCCA, serves as General Manager at SIDMA STEEL S.A. since November 2022 and is the Group Chief Financial Officer at SIDMA STEEL SA since January 2004, overseeing the financial management of the group. Michael is also a Professor of Finance at DEREE-The American College of Greece, teaching courses in Equity Valuation, Financial Modeling, and Risk Analysis, and serves as an Instructor at the University of Piraeus, delivering lectures on Corporate Credit and Credit Risk. Previous roles include CFO at Vizzavi, business strategy and planning positions at Vodafone, and key account management at Hellenic Telecommunications Organization. Michael holds an extensive educational background with degrees in Physics, Electronic Engineering, Business Administration, and Accounting from notable institutions, and possesses certifications in business valuations and marketing.
