Fehmida Ahmed

Fehmida Ahmed has extensive experience in procurement and contract management. Fehmida started their career as a Contracts Assistant at Ras Gas Company in 2009, then worked as a Business Analyst at BAPCO in 2014, a Buyer at RasGas in 2015, and is currently working at Sidra Medicine as a Procurement & Contract Analyst/ Acting Lead since 2017. Their roles have involved managing tenders, contracts, and procurement processes, as well as overseeing contract performance and implementing policies and procedures to improve efficiency. Fehmida has also been involved in data analysis, monitoring category implementation, and supporting category management teams.

Fehmida Ahmed completed their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) from North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon, India in 2000. Fehmida then pursued a Diploma in Financial Management from Wellingkar's Institute of Management in Mumbai, India from 2000 to 2001. Later, in 2018, they undertook a Corporate Level Course in Procurement and Supply from CIPS - Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Empathy at Work, Lean Six Sigma Foundations, and Project Management: Healthcare Projects from LinkedIn in 2022 and 2023. Fehmida also completed the Dealers Module in Finance from NCFM in 1997.
