Ruba Benini

Ruba Benini is an accomplished pediatric neurologist with extensive experience in academia and clinical practice. Currently serving as Program Director for the Pediatric Neurology Fellowship and Medical Director of the Neurodiagnostic Laboratory at Sidra Medicine since September 2017, Ruba also holds the position of Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine - Qatar. Previous roles include attending physician at King Fahad Medical City and pediatric neurologist at the Montreal Children's Hospital. Ruba's educational background encompasses a Neurology residency and Clinical Fellowship in Pediatric Epilepsy and EEG from McGill University and Université de Montréal, respectively, as well as a combined M.D.-Ph.D. degree in Medicine and Neuroscience from McGill University. Ruba's expertise includes pediatric epilepsy and neurodiagnostic consultation, making significant contributions to the field of pediatric neurology.
