Wouter Hendrickx

Wouter Hendrickx is a Principal Investigator at Sidra Medicine, overseeing the Tumor Biology and Immunology Lab and the Cancer Research Program since November 2014. Previously, Wouter served as the Principal Investigator of the Functional Cancer Omics Lab and held the position of Senior Postdoctoral Fellow focusing on cancer immunotherapy and immunogenetics. Wouter's research experience includes a role as a Research Associate at the University of East Anglia studying proteases in breast and pancreatic cancer, and work as a Doctoral Candidate in Molecular Biology investigating selenium's effects on prostate cancer. Earlier positions include a Research Assistant in Experimental Oncology at KU Leuven, an IT consultant at Toyota Motor Europe, and contributions to bioinformatics and biomedicine during master's studies at Euroscreen and Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Wouter holds an MSc in Biomedicine and an MSc in Bioinformatics, as well as a Ph.D. in Cancer Biology from the University of East Anglia.
