Rahul Pastapure

Rahul Pastapure is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project procurement and quality management, currently serving as Team Lead - Sourcing for Siemens Energy since December 2014. In this role, Rahul leads a team focused on procurement for turbo-compression and gas turbine packaging in the USA. Previous positions at Siemens include Project Procurement Manager and Senior Engineer- Project Procurement, where responsibilities encompassed large scale EPC projects, contract negotiation, and strategic sourcing to enhance proposal success rates. Rahul also served as Process Lead for Quality Management, overseeing the deployment of the SAP QM module across multiple sites, and as Category Analyst in Supply Chain Management, contributing to bid evaluations and spend analysis. Prior to Siemens, Rahul was a Purchase Engineer at KSB Pumps Company Limited, managing the purchasing cycle for various components. Rahul holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University.
