James Saunders

James Saunders has extensive experience in the renewable energy and engineering sectors, currently serving as the Head of Offshore Service Operations North America at Siemens Gamesa since October 2012. Previous roles at Siemens Gamesa include US Offshore Operations Manager and Service Manager for Race Bank Offshore Wind Farm. James has a strong background in technician roles, having been a Senior Technician and Level 7 Offshore Wind Turbine Technician, responsible for the recruitment and development of technical staff in line with Siemens Wind Technician Competency Framework. Prior to Siemens Gamesa, James worked as a Contract Electrical & Instrument Project Technician at Procter & Gamble and served as an EC&I Technician at Intergen's Coryton Power Station, gaining valuable skills in maintenance, calibration, and project management. Earlier experience at Procter & Gamble involved significant responsibilities in electrical and instrumentation for high-speed production lines.
