Song Cheng currently serves as the Head of New Business & Innovation at Siemens Gamesa, focusing on hydrogen and renewable hybrids, open innovation, and public funding since April 2017. Previously, Song held the position of Head of Corporate Intelligence and Planning, overseeing market and competitor intelligence, company strategic planning, and investor relations. Prior experience at Siemens from August 2006 to March 2017 includes roles such as Head of Markets and Competitors for Siemens Wind Power and General Manager of Transmission Solutions at Siemens Limited China, along with positions in strategy project management and consulting. Educational credentials include a Dr. Ing. and Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Southeast University.
