Ugur Mutlu

Ugur Mutlu is a highly skilled structural design engineer and team lead at Siemens Gamesa since August 2018, with extensive experience in composite structures and engineering analysis. Prior to this role, Ugur served as a PhD researcher and freelance consultant engineer at the University of Southampton from March 2015 to July 2018, focusing on multi-scale damage analysis of composite structures using advanced modeling techniques and programming languages. Ugur also held positions as a consultant engineer and researcher at Istanbul Technical University from September 2012 to March 2015, providing project management and technical consulting services, and as a naval architect and marine engineer at Egeyat Tourism Ltd. Co. from July 2010 to September 2012, where expertise in composite boat design and manufacturing processes was developed. Ugur holds a PhD in Engineering from the University of Southampton, an MS in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, and a Bachelor's degree in the same field, also from Istanbul Technical University. Additionally, Ugur participated in an exchange program at Università degli Studi di Genova in 2009.
