Yongxin Huang

Yongxin Huang is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in wind turbine blade design and structural engineering. Currently serving as Chief Engineer for Blade Structure Design at Siemens Gamesa since March 2021, Yongxin has a proven track record in leading teams and developing innovative engineering solutions throughout the product life cycle. Previous roles include Deputy Head of Blade Engineering Department at Envision Energy and Lead Structure Engineer at Siemens Gamesa, where responsibilities encompassed new product design, technology development, and ensuring effective integration of blade technology with offshore platforms. Yongxin holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University, alongside advanced degrees in Composites Manufacturing and Computational Materials Science. Academic research experience further includes contributions to experimental studies at various prestigious institutions.
