Jina Saikia

Jina Saikia is a seasoned professional in the fields of hematology and molecular diagnostics, currently serving as Chief Engineer and Head of Product Lifecycle Management & Engineering at Siemens Healthineers since August 2016. In this role, Jina leads R&D efforts for nucleic acid extraction chemistry, viral load assays, and tissue preparation for NGS, while also participating as an executive member of the Molecular Management Team. Prior experience includes being an IVD and Lab Operations Consultant, as well as holding managerial positions at CareDx, Inc. and XDx. Jina's educational background includes an M.Sc. in Biotechnology from The Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Biology with a minor in English from Boston University.
