Zachary King has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Zachary began their career at ACT Health as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist from June 2008 to June 2011. Zachary then joined ANZSNM, where they served on the ASM 2015 Local Organizing Committee and as a representative to the Scientific Advisory Panel from January 2014 to April 2015. Zachary also worked at Queensland Health, where they held the position of Senior Nuclear Medicine Scientist from June 2011 to October 2018. In this role, they were responsible for various tasks including student facilitation, graduate supervision, clinical nuclear medicine, and leadership. Zachary was also involved in procurement, rostering, financial management, and recruitment. Currently, Zachary is working at Siemens Healthineers as a Project Management Team Lead. Zachary started in October 2018 as a Project Manager before being promoted to Project Management Team Lead in Queensland from October 2020 to December 2022. Zachary then assumed the role of Project Management Team Lead for New Zealand and Queensland in December 2022.
Zachary King obtained a Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Nuclear Medicine) from Charles Sturt University in 2007. Zachary then pursued further education at the University of Southern Queensland, where they completed a Graduate Certificate of Business in 2017. In the following years, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialty in Business Leadership from the same university in 2020. Additionally, they obtained a Graduate Diploma of Business (Finance) from the University of Southern Queensland in 2021. Zachary also holds a certification as a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt from the Advanced Innovation Group Pro Excellence (AIGPE™). Zachary is also certified as an AHPRA Medical Radiation Practitioner by the Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and holds a Radiation Use License from Queensland Health.
