Martin Ahrens

Martin Ahrens has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Martin is currently the Head of IT Operations Management at Siemens Logistics, a position they have held since May 2020. Prior to their current role, they worked at Siemens Postal, Parcel & Airport Logistics as the Global IT-Services Operations Manager from January 2017 to May 2020. Before joining Siemens, Martin worked at Avira Operations GmbH & Co. KG, where they held various roles including Director of Language Technology & Services/Production/Automation/Software Security/QA-Management from October 2011 to January 2017, and Unix Developer from January 2007 to October 2011. Martin also gained experience at Paul Scherrer Institut (PSI) as a Diplom Worker from January 2006 to December 2006, at HolidayCheck AG as a Programmer/Administrator from November 2004 to February 2006, at Brecoflex CO., L.L.C. as a Programmer from February 2004 to September 2005, and at Jobfair 24 GbmH as a Programmer/Administrator from January 2003 to January 2004.

Martin Ahrens started their education at the University of Applied Science Constanze from 2000 to 2006, where they obtained a degree in Technische Informatik, specifically a Dipl.-Inf. (FH). Later, from 2009 to 2010, they attended FHS St. Gallen and received further education in IT Project Management, focusing on International Project Management.
