Carlos Grande-Moran

Carlos Grande-Moran is a seasoned Principal Consultant at Siemens PTI with over two decades of experience in Power System Dynamics, Controls, and renewable resource integration. Previously, Carlos served as Principal Engineer at General Electric Energy Consulting Services, where expertise included torsional analysis and the engineering of synchronous generators. Prior roles include Principal Engineer at Harris Corporation, focusing on advanced energy management systems, and Assistant Professor at The University of Texas at El Paso, teaching various engineering courses. Carlos holds a Ph.D. in Electric Power Systems from Iowa State University, along with multiple master's degrees in Systems Engineering and Electric Power Systems, and a diploma in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from the University of El Salvador.
