Dr. Frank Schönemann

Dr. Frank Schönemann currently serves as Principal Legal Counsel at Siemens, a position held since November 2012, specializing in banking and finance, and advising on various financial services and regulations. Additionally, Dr. Schönemann holds the title of Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Twelve Capital Germany and has previously worked as Senior Legal Counsel and Legal Counsel at Twelve Capital. Prior legal experience includes a Senior Associate role at Baker McKenzie Deutschland, focusing on corporate and financial services, as well as legal clerkships at the Regional Court Frankfurt am Main and Baker & McKenzie. Dr. Schönemann earned a PhD in Law from The University of Freiburg and has completed both the First and Second State Exams in Law in Germany, supplemented by an ERASMUS degree from Université Pierre Mendès-France de Grenoble.
