Jim Taylor

Jim Taylor is a seasoned professional in the energy sector, currently serving as VP of Energy Solutions at Siemens since May 2017. Prior to this role, Taylor held various leadership positions at Tucson Electric Power from October 2011 to May 2017, including Chief Technology Officer and Senior Director of Engineering & Operations Technology, where responsibilities encompassed technology strategy, operations, and project management for transmission systems. Earlier experience includes roles as Director of T&D Engineering, overseeing budget and project schedules, and Senior Electrical Engineer at Barrick Gold Corporation, managing design and maintenance of substations and generator sites. Initial career experience included electrical engineering roles at POWER Engineers. Taylor earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Wyoming.
