Lothar Weiler

Lothar Weiler has extensive experience in strategic procurement and electronics, currently serving as the Head of Strategic Procurement and Global Category Manager for Electronics/Electromechanics at Siemens AG since July 1996, with a focus on microcontrollers and motors. Prior to this role, Lothar was a Senior Strategic Buyer in Electronics/Electromechanics at Lawo from 1990 to 1996 and also served as Project Manager for Professional Audio Engineering, concentrating on broadcasting vans. Lothar's early career includes commercial education and training in data system technology, coupled with experience as an electronic technician at Badische Karton und Pappenfabrik from 1980 to 1988.
