Rakesh Pattni

Rakesh Pattni is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in commissioning and field service, currently serving as a Commissioning Engineer at Siemens since October 2013. Rakesh has a proven track record of testing diesel electric and electric locomotives, providing technical support, analyzing technical drawings, and managing teams of technicians. Prior to Siemens, Rakesh held roles as a Field Service Engineer and Field Service Lead, executing generator replacements on wind turbines and ensuring the functionality of electric locomotives. Rakesh's earlier experience includes tutoring students at Redstone College, serving as an Aviation Maintenance Mechanic in the U.S. Marine Corps, and starting a career in the food service industry. Rakesh holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo and an Associate of Occupational Studies in Wind Energy Technology from Redstone College.
