Vasi Philomin

Vasi Philomin serves as the Executive Vice President of Data and AI at Siemens since July 2025. Prior to this role, Vasi was the Vice President and General Manager of Generative AI at Amazon from June 2017 to June 2025, during which time Vasi led the development and management of a wide range of AI services, including those related to language, vision, industrial applications, and medical services. Before Amazon, Vasi worked at Philips Lighting as the Public Segment Leader from January 2015 to June 2017, overseeing business management in various public sector areas. Vasi's extensive experience at Philips includes positions such as General Manager of Philips CityTouch and Senior Director of Marketing and Business Development in the lighting and cleantech sectors, contributing to significant advancements over a decade. Vasi holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland and completed executive education at The Wharton School.
