Zach Young

Zach Young is a Commercial Project Manager and Project Controller for Rolling Stock at Siemens since June 2025. Prior experience includes a decade at NASA, where Zach served in various roles, including Operations Research Lead within the Strategic Assessments and Analysis for the Space Operations Mission Directorate and as a Lead Program Planning and Control Analyst for the Moon to Mars portfolio. Zach's contributions at NASA involved advising on programs with a combined $4.4 billion budget, developing strategic financial models, and leading efforts that saved millions in projected costs. Prior internships at Stock Building Supply and John Deere provided foundational experience in supply chain analysis, while a co-op at NASA enriched Zach's understanding of financial and performance management in aerospace. Zach holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Operations and Supply Chain Management from North Carolina State University.
