Elisa M Martin

Elisa M Martin is a seasoned academic and social work professional with extensive experience in higher education and clinical services. Currently serving as a Professor of Social Work at Siena University since September 2014, Elisa Martin has held roles from Assistant to Associate Professor and coordinates field education within the department. Previously, involvement with Mission Accomplished Transition Services as a board member adds to a diverse background that includes positions such as Assistant Director at University at Albany, where research focused on university-community engagement and service-learning. Elisa Martin has also worked in various capacities at Northeast Parent and Child Society and Kennedy-Donovan Center, overseeing programs, providing clinical services, and managing staff. Education includes a PhD in Social Welfare from the University at Albany, an MSW from New Mexico Highlands University, and a BS in Social Work from Bridgewater State University, complemented by an AAS in Stable and Farm Management from Cazenovia College.
