Jami L. Cotler, PhD, serves as the School of Science Internship Coordinator, Co-Chair of the Student Designed Interdisciplinary Major, and Professor of Computer Science at Siena University, where tenure began in September 1995. Transitioning from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor in March 2019 and then to Professor in September 2025, Jami L. Cotler has integrated best practices in software engineering and Agile Scrum into the senior capstone course. Previously, Jami L. Cotler has held various roles in educational technology, training, and fitness instruction, including positions at YMCA, Fit Bodies, Gold's Gym, and Blackboard. With extensive academic credentials that include a PhD in Informatics from the University at Albany and multiple master’s degrees, Jami L. Cotler has robust experience in curriculum development, instructional technology, and community engagement in both academic and fitness settings.
