Darren Lyn

Darren Lyn, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Darren is currently working at Sierra-Cedar as the Vice President of Higher Education Services, where they lead the executive leadership and management team and oversees various departments. Prior to this, they worked at Ciber Global as the Senior Director of the Higher Education Practice, where they provided management oversight and leadership to a team of professionals. Before that, they worked at the University of New Orleans as a PeopleSoft Project Lead, managing the implementation and support of PeopleSoft Financial Aid. Earlier in their career, they worked at Herff Jones as a Sales Principal/Territory Manager and at Tulane University as a Student Director.

Darren Lyn, Ph.D. obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Tulane University, where they studied from 1983 to 1987. Darren then pursued higher education at the University of New Orleans from 1991 to 1993, earning a Master of Arts degree in Higher Education Administration with a minor in Counseling. Continuing their academic journey, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Higher Education Administration with a minor in Counseling from the University of New Orleans, studying from 1993 to 1998.
