Dale Lutz

Dale Lutz has extensive experience in both the scientific and intellectual property fields, with a career spanning several decades. At 3M Company, Dale served as Lead Intellectual Property Specialist for nearly 40 years, contributing 13 years as a laboratory researcher and 25 years managing patent portfolios and evaluating technologies. Dale has also been a committed volunteer with the Sierra Club since 2007, focusing on clean air and renewable energy initiatives. Additionally, Dale served as a Lieutenant and instructor in the US Navy from 1972 to 1976. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Missouri University of Science and Technology, a Doctor of Philosophy in Physical Chemistry from Stanford University, and postdoctoral research in Analytical Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
