Elayne Coleman is a dedicated chapter director at Sierra Club since January 2021, previously serving as a green stormwater infrastructure community organizer. Prior experience includes roles as public spaces coordinator at Detroit RiverFront Conservancy, where relationship cultivation with partner organizations enhanced public programs, and sustainability coordinator at Williams College, fostering cross-departmental collaborations to boost sustainability visibility. Elayne has also contributed as a communications intern at Emory University's Office of Sustainability Initiatives, managing social media and newsletter communications, and engaged in various sustainability projects through internships at the City of Atlanta and the Sierra Club. Elayne holds a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science from Emory University and an MBA from Wayne State University.
