Jennifer McCharen

Jennifer McCharen is an accomplished digital marketing professional with extensive experience in online organizing and outreach for mission-driven organizations and progressive causes. Currently serving as the Senior Regional Digital Manager at Sierra Club since May 2017, Jennifer previously held roles such as Online Organizing Manager and National Online Organizer within the organization. Jennifer owned Honest Digital Marketing, where strategies for digital marketing were developed for clients from December 2016 to November 2021. Past roles include Digital Director for Hillary for America and Digital Director for Empower Alabama, as well as content management positions at Fuel Freedom Foundation, Clean Currents, and Chelsea Green Publishing. Jennifer possesses a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Antioch University-Los Angeles and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology, philosophy, and photography from Sarah Lawrence College. Additionally, a foundation in agricultural work includes farm apprenticeships at Hope Roots Farm and Down to Earth Farm.
